Lately I have been saying this may be my final commemorative Santa drawing. If so, I want to present my last Santa as I see him - Mystical. Magical. Bundled in fur. A hearty resident of the North Pole. A metaphysical man who flies through the starry starry night to fulfill wishes and dreams of believers, young and old.

This Christmas Eve, 2017, Santa will take to the night sky accompanied by the silver sliver of a NEW MOON. If we are lucky, we might catch a glimpse of him streaking across the star-filled Milky Way. What a treat, and as always, I will be there watching. Will you?

The Santa Series

For a number of years, I have created an annual Santa Claus painting in oil pastel to commemorate the new Holiday Season. Each year's commemorative Santa is unique, represents a specific theme and is a special joy to create.

The original works are done in oil pastel on textured mat board and measure 32"x 24". The originals are available by contacting the artist directly, at the contact numbers listed below.

They are available all year round.

Ordering a Print

All the images in the Santa Series, except Santa of the Star, are available to order as giclee prints. Your prints are presented to you matted, backed with foam core and protected in an acetate sleeve. Although prints can be displayed as is, they arrive ready for framing.

The GICLEE PROCESS employs archival pigmented inks, heavy weight matte photo papers and as such each print is a fade resistant, fine art print. Each limited edition print is numbered and signed. 100 of each years' Santa are offered, until the 100th of each year has been shared.
